ATTENTION HORSE LOVERS... THE HORSE STALL REBUILDING PROJECT IS UNDERWAY:
The Canon City Rodeo Association grounds has 40 horse stalls. Five have been rebuilt so far, leaving 35 stalls that need rebuilding.
The new stalls are made of blocks, making them strong, long-lasting and easy to clean. Just what any good horse needs.
Here is a picture of the old stalls. You can see why they NEED to be rebuilt:

Each new stall costs $2,200 to build. Will you consider donating to this worthwhile project? You can use the "Donate" button in the upper left corner of this webpage or you can send a check to :

If you will sponsor the entire cost of building a stall ($2,200), we will put a plaque on the outside of that stall recognizing your contribution. The plaque can display your name or any name of your choice -- even a beloved horse's name!

The New Stage ~~ For Rent:

The Canon City Rodeo Association's stage and arena is available for rent.
The stage is 12' x 24' with power and lights.
Stage and arena together rents out at $300 per day.
Arena only rent starts at $200 per day during daylight hours.
Night rental is a bit more due to the cost of the utilities.
